In the foreground, two small red boats floated on the water. Their presence was immediately noticeable. Their color contrasted sharply with the landscape, almost intentionally. They introduced humanity, use, artifice. I left them there, embracing this contrast.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e Between the water and the sky, a strip of land shelters the trees. They form a border, a threshold. Behind them, I know the sea is there, off-screen, invisible but present. It exists through suggestion, held back by the frame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n \u003cp\u003eThen my gaze lifted. And the sky dominated. The clouds were sharply defined, almost structured, like a suspended canopy. At that moment, I felt they belonged to the same order as the trees. As if one forest were responding to another: one rooted in the earth, the other floating in the air. The sky ceased to be a mere background.
